[Elecraft] [K3] Low audio output after AF output mod

Hello group,

Instructions for the AF output mod specify that:
"This modification is needed for all K3s shipped approximately 
before 01/12/09 containing either 
a Revision "XB" or Revision "A" KIO3 board."

I have a K3 #310 with KIO3A board Revision XD.
The exact markings on the KIO main board read:
KIO3A MAIN
Rev XD
(c) 2007
ELECRAFT

The board did not have the 470R resistors installed,
so I installed them according to the instructions on 
the Elecraft webpage.

Now after the mod, audio output from the 
rear-panel speaker-jack is very low. 
I have to cranck up the AF volume pot up 
to about 2 o'clock in order to hear anything.

So I'm wondering if this mod really is relevant
for the KIO I'm having?
Or perhaps I have missed something?

Any ideas, anyone?
