Am I correct in gathering that the PR6 is a RECEIVE-ONLY preamp (i.e. 
that it can't be used with the same antenna/feed line as the TX? (vide 
p. 3 manual).

If so, I would be much more interested in a good low-noise GaAsFET 
antenna-mounted (weatherproof) preamp with T/R switching (I would be 
using it with my K3/100), and would gladly receive info about 
availability of same.
