[Elecraft] [K3] AM Filters ??

> First observation:  the maximum filter width that I can adjust for an AM signal with the 6 KHz filter switched in is 5 KHz.  Is this normal?  So, is this value in my filter adjustment the whole signal width (both sidebands) or just half the signal width?  Note: I do not have a wider filter.

> Second observation:  with other modes, CW, SSB, as I narrow down the filter width I can see each filter being switched in on the xfil display.  But, in AM mode, this does not happen. 

You need to enable the other filters in AM Rx mode if you wish to use 
them.  Easiest to do using K3 Utility, but can be done from the front 
panel of the radio suing the CONFIG menus.
