Terry,
Other software packages can do what you are expecting of ACLog, so I
surmise that it is an ACLog problem. I have seen reports that a few
applications try to send the frequency and mode changes in the wrong
order and the K3 does not behave as expected.
If you want substantiation, download and install HRD or N1MM and you
will see that the K3 is quite responsive to frequency and mode changes.
OTOH, you may have some sort of setup problem in the software too, check
with the author of the software.
