Your comment was degrading to the people on this reflector. I earned my ham
ticket in 1951 and since then I've strived to improve my operating
capabilities and knowledge. One reason is that I had some good Elmers that
were positive and motivating. They were leaders who made me want to excel.
There are plenty of Elmers on this reflector.

This reflector is made up of people of all walks of life but who have one
thing in common: We want to excel in our hobby.

Comments that degrade us serve only to discourage new hams. When the public
hears such comments we all suffer. We can do better.
