[Elecraft] OT: Pin migration in Type N connectors

The pin of a UG-1185 has an obvious  "flange" in 
the approximate center of the pin, and there are
two TFE "washers" that hold them captive in the
body of the connector.  

There are "cups" in the TFE washes that appear to 
be for surrounding the "flange" on the pin.  They're
not.  The "cups" face -away- from the "flange", and 
have nothing to do with positioning of the washers.  

They're actually a form of "tuning" used to keep the 
connector 50 ohms.
