Gentlemen,

To all a hardy "Thank you" for those who gave me timely advice on how to fix our "RF gain" problem 
with our K3! Though it took a bit of rooting around it eventually worked!

By doing a "RF gain re-calibrate" thru the utility software program to factory-default, it 
rectified the lower-than-normal gain/S-meter readings (s-1 back up to the normal S-5) on 20 & 
17m.!
