Gads!  Don Wilhelm is absolutely right (of course)!  The 
speaker plugs into the RF board, not the control board. 
I've only had this radio apart a dozen times or so--you'd 
think I'd be able to do it blindfolded!  My only excuse is 
that I disconnected it two days ago, got sidetracked, and 
then age took over!  Needless to say, I only put out that 
post, fully expecting to be embarrassed, since nothing on 
any of my Elecraft rigs has not fit precisely!  Sorry folks! 
As Ron, KU7Y always says, "back in my hole"--except mine 
needs to be a bunch deeper than his!

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
