[Elecraft] Arctic Silver - anyone using it instead of thermal-pads?

Duane,

I really don't understand why anyone would want to use that white gooey 
messy stuff that sticks to everything and jumps off where it was placed 
to get all over one's clothing and skin!
The supplied thermal pads are supposed to provide better heat 
conductivity than all the thermal grease in the world!
'Nuff said.
