Ron, Brian,
Yes, that is correct - the KUSB should not be plugged directly into the
back of the K2 - the K2 can be damaged.
All that uses a DB-9 connector is NOT a serial port connection, the K2
is clearly labeled AUX I/O.
Use the K2 defined cable to plug into the KUSB and all will be OK (if
your KUSB works OK at the 4800 baud rate.
