[Elecraft] First report about my new Yamaha CM-500

yes Bob,very confortable,I have been dxing and ragchewing for 2 hours now on 40M and I don't feel them on my ears,I cut the lows with the EQ and my audio goes now from 150 to 3100hz,its easy to EQ any mic wiith the K3.
I just ended a QSO with W2QN few mins ago and he reported me excellent TX audio with this CM500.
Good buy for $38 right ?

I just received my CM-500s and am using the rear mic jack. Works fine that
way with lo gain, bias on.

As Jim reported, the mic has a lot of gain. It's quite bassy compared to the
Heil but the EQ takes care of that.

I opened the package and 10 minutes later I'm all set. The ear pieces are
nice and large. Comfy so far.

Hector,

Glad you like it.  I have been using mine for months.  But with the K3 rear
input, you do not need the battery bias box.  The K3 will supply the bias
you need.
