Hi Richard,
Try running the audio to/from the Mac directly to/from the K3. I *believe* the K3 already provides the audio isolation transformers, so there's no need to route the audio through the microHam device. I have the K3 line out going directly to the line in on my iMac, and the line out (headphone jack) on my iMac going directly to the line in on the K3. This works FB for me and I get plenty of audio output from the K3. I can even get near 100% RTTY and PSK copy on cocoaModem using the iMac's internal microphone picking up the audio from the K3's internal speaker from 3 feet away at relatively low volumes. :)
