Several weeks ago I sent my K3, #1665, back to Elecraft for production
updates since Oct '08.  My K3 was factory assembled and has most options.
Elecraft Service, Rene K6XA, did an excellent job.  The radio now equals or
exceeds current production specifications and is essentially new again.  It
was obviously handled with care and returned in the same cosmetic condition
as sent.  I believe the cost for this service was very reasonable-I couldn't
be more satisfied.
