[Elecraft] K3 to KRC2 problem

My K3 has worked flawlessly up until now. Lately when you Grab a DX Spot or punch in
a band change on HamRadioDeluxe the KRC-2 fails to make the proper change of the
Antenna Selection. If you then push the Band Up or Band Down buttons on the K3 radio
and back to the band desired Then the KRC-2 does go to the correct Antenna 
selection. 

It makes things a little difficult for me as I am presently 1200 miles away from the radio.
This weekend a friend will be there operating the station so its my chance for him to
look at a few things and maybe correct the problem.

Anyone have any good ideas of where or what to look at?
