[Elecraft] RFI from computer

Barry;

I have an LCD monitor.

Every now and then I get RFI from it.

I disconnect it from the power supply for a few seconds, plug it back in and
RFI is gone.

It may come back in a couple of days or it can be weeks.

Barry -
The interference may be coming from the LCD. Can you reduce the brightness
of the display?
Also check the power supply - try putting beads on the leads. It could be a
noisy switching supply.

If, as Jeff suggested, it's Ethernet noise, you could use a USB wireless
adapter if the laptop does not already have a wireless network feature.
