[Elecraft] [K3] ANT1 / ANT2 for RX / TX?

Working the ARRL 160 last weekend I was considering trying a pennant 
receiving antenna but then realized I don't have a receive antenna 
input.  (I don't have the transverter option.)

I wonder if the capability to use ANT1 for TX and ANT2 (assuming the ATU 
is installed) for RX could be incorporated as an option?  If there is an 
issue with relay speed or noise, it could be made functional in 
"semi-break-in" mode only.
