  I have used the K2 with the PTC-IIusb with no problem. As I remember 
it, Airmail talks to the PTC on one com Port and to the K2 on another. I 
haven't had this particular configuration set up for several years but 
if necessary I could probably re-create it.

I did modify the K2 to give the PTC low level access to the audio path 
for both transmit and receive.
