AFAIK the PTC-II controllers do not "speak" K3 CAT commands, therefore the
"TRX Control" port cannot be used to control a K3.
Consequence: No frequency scanning (controlled by the PTC-II).

The audio part between the PTC-II's "TRX Audio" port and the K3 is
straightforward:
PTC Audio output (pin1) to K3 Line in
PTC Audio input (pin4) to K3 Line out
PTC PTT output (pin3) to K3 PTT in
PTC GND (pin2) to K3 GND ;-)
