Not neccessarily.
The bane of operators with a pileup (DXpedition or contest) are the
stations that all call on the same frequency, often zero-beat with the
called station.
This makes signals VERY hard to distinguish from one another.
It's most usually caused by everyone clicking on a station in a bandmap
derived from a cluster of some kind.
Be a more successful operator and offset your VFO by a few cycles (OK, hz),
so you'll stand out from the crowd.
