[Elecraft] VFO-B stuck / pse advice

Hi,

A friend of mine has the VFO-B on his K3 stuck.  Frequency wont
change. Also, when he tries to access the menu, all he can see is
FW-rev.

Is this a common issue? He tried front panel resetting the rig, but
that did not fix the issue.
