[Elecraft] K3: Need help loading new firmware

Jay,

Your K3 should be on.  Make certain your USB adapter is really 
connecting to the K3.  Sometimes things like modems masquerade as the 
valid connection just because they echo the K3Utilitiy commands.  Go to 
the Device Manager and see which com port has been assigned to the USB 
adapter.
