[Elecraft] ERR KEY message

My K3 was always on CW mode. And tonight I would like to try it on WW SSB  
Contest. I tap the mode selector and an error message came up on the  
display " ERR KEY " and my K3 is lock on transmit. I can not get the error  
message go out. Need your help.
