Good Morning,
After losing this once I am now ready to send it. The report landed in \dev\null for some reason and is now floating in bit heaven. Oh the wonders of modern electronics! Luckily I had finished updating the database so the lists were easy to replicate from the log sheets and from the files. Redundancy is a good thing.
Both nets went well, I had great propagation into the east on 20 and with Kent's help was able to work into Virginia on 40 meters. Thanks to Tom, Kent, and to Dale (K6PJV) for net control help and relays. Surprisingly, 40 meters had little QRN. I did not go for my normal walk afterward to recover my hearing. Twenty meters seemed pretty long because Tom was calling CQ and I was hearing the responses to him but he was not. So, after he closed, I got Ken and Nick easily. When Kent moved a new QNI off frequency I got back to work and bagged a few more in mini-pileups.
All in all it was a fun and productive afternoon's effort. On to the lists =>

As ever if there are any errors please send me an email and I will repair the damage. I do need to spend a few hours with the database and get it all cleaned up. The information is intact it is simply scattered. When I am done I will print up an ordered roster to tickle my memory and then make a few backups in case of dire emergency (comets, floods, fire, plague, you know, the little things).
Dale (WC7S) mentioned needing more wood because he is in high country nearing the first snow. I mentioned frost is coming soon so we both need to get back to work to prepare for our winter hibernation close to the fire and to the radio shack. He will enjoy the winter fox hunts while I keep building things and learning more. When the snow is deep and the fire is warm is the very best time to study and solder. The occasional climb onto the roof to shovel snow just gives time to ponder what I have studied :)
   Until next week stay well,
      73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
