Enjoy...

The KUSB USB to RS-232 cables are uniquely designed and built to convey the
true natural beauty of the original data transfer stream with see-through
transparency and life-like, holographic imaging.

With the KUSB we start with a true Hyperlitz design using silver-plated
copper conductors each with its own Teflon coating. The individual
conductors are not in contact throughout the length of the USB cable except,
of course, at the connection point to the male and female plugs. This type
of Hyperlitz design tremendously reduces inter-conductor EMI and RFI noise
and is responsible, to a large extent, for the three dimensional and
“life-like” holographic imaging. This design is also responsible to a great
extent for the pinpoint image accuracy of the K3.

Each individual lead of the USB cable is made of 12 silver-plated copper
conductors, each of which has its OWN Teflon coating. Four of the conductors
are 16 AWG, four are 18 AWG, and the last four are 22 AWG. The total AWG of
each lead (there are 2 leads in each USB cable, of course) is slightly
thicker than an 8 AWG conductor. That degree of thickness is UNHEARD of in
the industry. This means that the KUSB is capable of supplying “endless
power” to any component you have at your disposal. From the 5 watt X-TAL SET
to the 10000 watt Solid State monoblock. This does not mean that the KUSB
has to be used for just the K3 only. It’s perfectly suited for your toaster
and waffle iron as well.

Prior to assembly each individual conductor (remember that there are 12
conductors of different sizes in each lead) is immersed in a liquid Nitrogen
tank for 96 hours. The liquid Nitrogen treatment is time consuming and
COSTLY; however, it’s well worth the effort. The transparency and pin-point
imaging of the KUSB PC is significantly improved by this liquid Nitrogen
treatment. We feel that the natural presence and the organic nature of the
music is preserved and enhanced by our liquid Nitrogen treatment. Our ground
lead is a 10 AWG copper multi-stranded conductor and the entire length of
the KUSB PC is 100% shielded with aluminum to further reduce EMI and RFI
from the outside world. Finally the cord is covered by a transparent colored
and relatively soft and pliable polypropylene based jacked. The female plug
is from Juan in Puerto Rico - also USA made! I should mention that the
female plug is thoroughly cleaned with COGSS Labs Pro Mold XYL metal
conditioner and deoxidizer. In addition, the contact points inside the
female plug are manually adjusted to provide you with a tighter grip once
the KUSB is plugged into your unit - WOW!!! You can feeeelll the difference.
You will feel this the very first time you plug-in. Watch for it. This
process is laborious but well worth the effort. No one in the industry that
I know of actually goes this far to improve a USBs performance! For the male
connector we have chosen the Johnson connector. We choose this connector
because it’s sturdier than the Juan and due to the large gauge size of our
leads, this connector does not strip, even when extremely tightly connected.
The Juan simply can not handle a lead thicker than 10 AWG. Why? It strips
quite frequently during the connection. In terms of quality the Johnson is a
better choice in this application.
