[Elecraft] "Spot" anomoly

K3 #1823, Fw 3.14, two rcvrs.
BAND any; CW (rev); SUB on; SPLIT on (Xmit on B); VOX off; QSK off;
XMT via footswitch; external keyer.
Logger32 receiving info from K3, but not sending anything (as far as I know).

When returning to Rcv mode, the SPOT occasionally switches on.
Confused the hell out of me the first time it happened - I thought somebody
was tuning up right on DX freq. (insert 4-letter words here)!
I can turn it off by poking the SPOT switch a couple of times.
Has happened three or four times in the last few days.

Anyone else notice this 'feature'?
