[Elecraft] k3 Mic Suggestions

Good day:

We're having serious distortion when the compression is set to 13 or above on both our K3's with the Heil elements. The ONLY workable solution has been to use an external TenTec processor to get reasonable audio. Before we did that, we routinely got beat in pileups by stations with much smaller antennas - we even ran simulated pileups with European stations.

I'd be very interested in a fix. I understand "normal" compression settings are around 23.

I'm using a Heil Pro-Set with the HC4 element. Reports are good.
