Hello Trev,

From my experience with XV144,  working under FM mode, even at 10 watts, the transverter is very very hot.  I put my comment in www.eham.net

However, I do not use it for Sats.

Hello to all in the group.
I would like the opinion of any members of this group with regard to the K3
and VHF
and UHF transverters.
Does anyone have experience of the K3 used with Elecraft transverters for
working through sats? Can a setup with the K3 do full duplex? Is there any
problems with general FM working locally through repeaters etc.
Any thoughts, Ideas would be most welcome.Thanks for any replies.
