[Elecraft] Sneak Preview: New Elecraft products - W2 speculation

Suppose I want 3 sensors to the W2, and don't want to buy a 2nd W2  
just yet :-)
Since the sensors connect to the W@ via CAT5, presumably they use  
RJ45s - could I just plug'n'play?
Will a sensor still pass RF ok without being plugged in? I bet it will?
