The earlier start time helped with propagation and despite some local
noise issues with one or two of us, signals were adequate.
The net ran on 3629 KHz from 0900 to 1000 hours local (0800 - 0900 UTC).
Subjects have slowly migrated away from K3 issues which is an indication
that the K3 is maturing. This week much discussion revolved around power
line adapters, plastic optical fibre for home networking, panadapter
ideas (Rocky/Softrock on the K3/K2 IF), sources of headset microphone
"breath pop" foam and AGC vs. NR settings in the K3.
Stations were:
G0VGS, Ian
G4ARI, Tim
EI6IZ, Brendan
M3WCK, Colin
GM3SEK, Ian
GM8GAX, Peter
G4CGG, Richard
73 until next week
Dave, G4AON
K3/100, Acom 1000, dipole
