I believe this to be a very good solution for those wanting to use the
PowerMate. There is a very big problem that this setup solves -
keeping the radio responses from PowerMate commands from getting back
to non-compliant computer applications. There are many computer radio
control apps, including some of the most popular contest apps, that
behave very badly when presented with responses they don't request.
The LP-Bridge acts like a firewall to keep those responses away from
the unsuspecting programs, instead directing them back to the
PowerMate interface application.
And, I agree with you about the PowerMate. I have the silver one. It
works great. Griffin once in a while offers a really cool looking
black one that would go quite well with the K3.
