[Elecraft] K2 on FD

I'll throw in another plug for the K2. This was my first FD in over
30 years. I ran my K2 as a 1B/Battery/QRP/CW station out of my camper
for the duration. This was the first time I'd spent "quality time"
with my K2 since getting my K3 almost a year ago. I'd forgotten what
a sweet little rig the K2 is:

     - Small...: Easily sat on a corner of the tiny table in my camper
with plenty of room left over for logs and dupe sheets.

     - ... but not TOO small: Never had a problem operating the
controls or finding the right button.

     - Easy to feed 1: Over 18 hours actual operating time on a single
12AH battery. Could have gone longer, but I ran out of juice before
the battery did.

     - Easy to feed 2: I literally found a hunk of wire in the garage
and threw it into a tree for an antenna. The KAT2 was able to tune it
to < 1.5:1 on 80, 40, and 20. Not a great performer, but still let me
work stations from Alaska to Indiana on 5w.

     - Great performance.

I'm really glad I didn't succumb to the temptation to sell it after
getting the K3.
