[Elecraft] Amplifier for K-2/10

I've been contemplating putting the KPA/100 in a seperate enclosure.. and running with the K2, optionally to feed the KPA or not... but keeping it seperate from the K2. 

Are there any particular problems with that process? And I am with Dick.. QSK is paramount, with or without the amp.
