[Elecraft] [K3] Intermittent low CW sidetone monitor after transmitting (huh?)

I have the same set up and have had the same problem,  it was fixed in the
last couple of updates.  If you dont have the latest 3.19, I would give 
it a try,
that has fixed it all for me.
