[Elecraft] simplest way to protect subrx from high RF on RX antenna?

Allan,

The K3 subRX is protected with a C.O.R. when connected to a separate
antenna - so the protection is built in.
OTOH, if you want to silence the clicking of the C.O.R. (it *is* a relay
clicking), then take other means to isolate the RX antenna from the TX
antenna - filters or separation, or opposing polarization (whatever it
takes). Once you reduce the RF input to the K3 RX ant sufficiently, the
C.O.R. will stop clicking. and the input level will be safe for the K3.
