Pierre,

I can't answer your specific question with certainty, but I recommend 
that you repair the broken PC traces with #26 or #30 wire and see if the 
heating problem is solved.  There are several traces on the PC board 
that run under the key jack.  Repair any that look damaged.

For a small (short) break in a PC trace, I often scrape the traces and 
solder in a splice of bare #26 or #30 wire, then cover the exposed wire 
with a thin coat of epoxy glue.  It makes a durable and permanent repair.
