A while back someone mentioned that they substituted different colored LED when they built the W1 watt meter, to make it easier to recognize the power ranges. Someone else mentioned that the substituted LED's might not be as bright as those supplied by Elecfraft (which are all red). Does anyone have any experience/observations with this?
