If you have any interest in aviation, You need to visit the Air Force
Museum.
Can't answer the comparative scale question, but you'll definitely do a lot
of walking. The flea market has shrunk a bit, but probably, like the indoor
vendors, will vary with the economy.
QRPers attend FDIM.
Contesters go to Contest University.
There are banquets for DXers, Contesters, Top Banders and others.
Most of the event related hotels are booked already. Access to a vehicle is
a must.
I hope to make it this year too. Hope we can have an eyeball QSO. My plans
will be centered around contesting events.
