Hi James.  

I use "Audacity" with the "Lame" MP3 plug-in to record beacons and intruders.  With the PC sound
card mic level at max, I need the K3 Line out at about 20 to get enough audio for Audacity.  Can't
hear any distortion but I'm not a hi-fi buff.  I don't even own any oxygen-free copper mains cables!
