[Elecraft] OT: 10m contest "weird" propagation possible explanation

I used my K3/10 during the 10m contest and, along with most others,
experienced these "strange" conditions....very cool during the
contest....and now, a possible/probable scientific explanation.  I actually
worked the author (N7DF).  You had to be there!
