[Elecraft] [K3] M1-M4: Can a CW Paddle that has four memory switches be wired directly to the K3?

During the CQWWCW contest the MicroHam keyer died. After activating the
"Terminal" function on the laptop, we connected the radio thru the serial
port and configured N1MM to key via de com port selected. It worked fine
during the second half of the contest. After the contest, I tried the band
map and frequency control with N1MM and it worked. Unfortunately, we did not
have another USB adapter to run both functions at the same time. Maybe using
the device router supplied by MicroHam or a similar program will provide the
necessary virtual com ports.

We're interested in this, Gary -- thanks for the suggestion.
Meanwhile, you can always use the "Terminal" function of K3 Utility to
send/receive in CW, RTTY, and PSK31 modes using your PC keyboard.
