[Elecraft] K3: Can transmit RX segment recorded on DVR?

Thanks Tom, I had found the user guide reference - but since it didn't
address transmitting a recorded segment (at a 5th grade level :)  I wasn't
sure if it could transmit or not.

Ah!  Geoffrey got me the key:  the monitor must be turned on/up in order to
hear the segment being transmitted.  Yes, it would be good if the monitor
could come on automatically when PTT is pressed and one plays a DVR
recording.

Is this a great radio or what??
