[Elecraft] K3 Channel Hopping

No rocks need to be hidden under.
As a former TS850 owner and a current TS570 owner, in addition to my new
K3/100, I would agree that this functionality is needed. The knob on my
former 850 was getting on the wobbly side after years of use for this
purpose... Its extremely handy and would be a welcome enhancement of K3's
tuning operation. My Kenwoods were always set to 5kHz, making it oh so
handy to move inside the band with a quick twist. I miss this feature.
Frankly, I would use the RIT knob for this and not B-VFO. It would also be
nice if you could select which VFO the function would apply to with, say,
holding the CLR button down or even adding the push-the-knob functionality
of the "Control Quad" area to toggle between VFO A and B and (hopefully) the
KRX3 as well.
Left LED flashing would tally VFO-A delegation, Center VFO-B and Right,
KRX3.
I would vote for holding the CLR button to assign control at this juncture.

Just a simple channel hopping feature such as Kenwood offer on
TS-870/850/690/680/450/440 etc, simple yet effective and functional, no
button pushing multiple times or menu manipulation would be a vast
improvement on what the K3 can do for all it's whiz bang gadgetry.....
My 2 cents worth
Back under my rock I crawl..:-)
