Tired of trying to build CW copy speed 'reading the mail' or listening to
endless contest exchanges?
How about a little fun this way?
For the last couple of months Transmitter Supervisor Steve Hawes has
prepared both press and weather for transmission earlier in the day during
the time we are attending Services of the Church of the Continuous Wave
(where pastry and coffee are served) in the engineer's lounge at the Bolinas
transmitter site. Transmissions begin on all frequencies at 1000 Pacific
time/1700Z. Our normal speed is 25wpm (again at the request of listeners)
but Steve sometimes uses 18wpm.
When I arrive at the receive site at about 1200 Pacific time/1900Z Steve
throws control over to me as I put the wheel on the air for KSM and activate
K6KPH.
If you enjoy copying a little Morse on a Saturday please tune in. The
frequencies are listed on our Web site at http://www.radiomarine.org .

------------------
The KSM frequencies referred to are (in KHz):
4350.5
6474.0
8438.3
12993.0
16914.0
22445.8
Or, for those within range with LF converters, 426 and 500 KHz
If you enjoy the transmissions, they'd love to hear from you.
