[Elecraft] P3 Critics

I too would like that and perhaps a USB input to accept a PowerMate or  
mouse for moving across the screen. Both have a click capability and  
might be easier than a knob mounted vertically that one must press  
(depends on the force required for the press).
I had thought this might be the same width as the K3 enclosure and  
intended to go below the K3, thereby making a much wider screen -  
perhaps there are cost/reliability issues with that wide a screen?

If it’s a separate enclosure, perhaps a replacement side panel for the  
K3 with some form of fixing 'lug' so the two can the locked together,  
but would be separable when required - the kind of protruded slot and  
inverted L might work, like :

But all this is mute really, without more info I don't feel I can add
