Good Evening,
I do believe spring was here in Oregon. I had some flowers bloom. Jonquils, then trilliums, and then the first few daffodils. Now it is chilly, grey, and wet. The hummingbirds did inspect the area on our warmest day but I've not seen them since. An avian oddity? The Stellar's Jays are pushing the Grey Jays around! Very odd. However there are so many Stellar's Jays that the Greys cannot use their flocking techniques to intimidate the larger Stellar's.
Conditions on twenty meters were marginal but extended exchanges were possible. The sun is still quiet but that is nothing new. The folks on 160 meters are enjoying this period very much. I need to add some extra length to my antenna so I can do more than just listen on that band. I have never tried it and have been told of its interesting differences.

Please join us tomorrow evening.
