[Elecraft] NR

Good morning,
Need a little help setting up the "NR". When I use it cuts out the white
noise but the voice is muffled. Sounds like it is being over driven and
kinda fades in and out.Signal sounds better with it off. Tried all the
setting (F1 thru F4).
