[Elecraft] K2: Problem 40 Meter Alignment -- SOLVED

I was looking at something on the MJF web site and for the hell of it looked up the 4110.  Even though the MFJ-4110 itself has a label saying 14v at 2800mA, the web site says that typical output is 13.8v at 1.3 amps!!!!!
 
So I hooked the K2 up to my PowerFlex battery (13.8v at 15 amps) and had no trouble with the 40 meter alignment.
 
Is this another case of "MFJ strikes again"?
