It is worth more than you will get for it in cash terms. When you sell it you
may miss it and may have to build or buy another one. I am keeping mine!
However, I believe $600 is the going rate for the basic K3, at least it is
over here in Europe. Yours has many options so could easily be worth perhaps
$1200. I work on the simple principle that new, second hand gear is worth at
most around 2/3 of the current new price. But, K2s and K3s can exceed this.
As it is the 100W model you might get more if you sell the KPA100 and KAT100
separately. The 10W K3 with the transverter interface is a popular driver
for VHF and up and also is still a popular QRP radio, you would probably get
nearly $800 for it and maybe $500-600 for the PA/ATU.
I am not sure why you think the K2/100 is not a good mobile rig. It has
everything necessary except a remote head unit. If it will not fit you might
be better off getting a different vehicle, or sticking with the 706.
