It's about 750 miles "as the crow flies" from the Mexican to Oregon borders,
covering the latitudes from about 32 degrees North through about 41 degrees
North, but California is not aligned in a straight north-south path which
accounts for the extra 50 miles by road.

If you can believe the CALTRANS exit signs on I-5 [said to be mileage 
North from Mexico], the last one about a mile before the Oregon state 
line is 798.  WY isn't that far east.  I guess it would be a fair sector 
of your antenna's view
