YES! When I moved from Chicago to Santa Cruz, I was using it as my 
primary CW contesting rig, driving a Ten Tec Titan amp. K6XX and 
W0YK lost no time informing me that I was broad. Switched to the 
TS850 and they were happy. I later learned that W0YK switched away 
from a K2/100 for the same reason.
